Band Bios: Sean Fournier

Sean Fournier is a lyrically-driven singer/songwriter. With an acoustic guitar in hand and a pocket full of songs, he continues on his quest for the world to hear his music.

The Beginning
Sean's musical journey began when he was seventeen years old. Boredom led him wandering around the attic and he stumbled upon his mother's old guitar. After getting a chord book, Sean taught himself how to play. Having no musical experience or even listening to music in general, Sean began piecing together original songs from the few chords he learned. For the next few years, Sean would share his music with close friends and relatives. In this time, he practiced his songwriting craft and made home recordings.

The Rise
In 2005, Sean released his first album entitled Put the World On Stop. Taking about two years to record, this album became a collection of Sean's favorite songs, dating back to even his early days of songwriting. A year later, Sean released Paper Tiger. The album is a story of one man's journey beginning at an end of a relationship and ending at the start of a new one. By the end of 2008, Sean had two more releases. The first, What I Must Do, a single that tells the story of a couple walking home through a snow storm and what would happen if they lost each other along the way; and Oh My, a free EP that was created to spread the word of Sean's music. This album has six tracks that feature newly recorded versions of songs that were previously on Put the World On Stop and Paper Tiger.

The Present
Currently, Sean is busy promoting his free album Oh My through the use of the Oh My Microsite, other online initiatives, shows and word of mouth. He has enough songs for his next full-length release and plans on recording soon.
